PM Trudeau has just posted a thank you to Papineau:

"17 years ago, the people of Papineau put their trust in me. They gave me a chance to do good by our community & a few years later, do good by our country. That's a privilege I'll be forever grateful for. Thank you, Papineau."

It is a common fallacy that conservatives are good capitalists. They are not. Capitalism thrives under Liberal governments because they put more money in more pockets, which generates more spending and improves the economy.
Canada's Conservative leaders break the bank while preaching prudence www.nationalobserver.com/2024/12/06/o... This is an excellent article. Ford has increase Ontario's by $22 billion dollars, more than any other government in the history of the province. Ontario voters need to stop him.
Canada's Conservative leaders break the bank while preaching prudence
For all their talk about being fiscally prudent, Conservative politicians in Canada have more or less abandoned the idea of balancing the budget.

The #LPC leadership race also needs to be “paused.”

This is not the time for any elections!

PM @JustinTrudeau needs to stay, and you should be asking him to do that NOW! 🪶😡🇨🇦

The NDP and the CCF before them used to have smart leaders, whether or not you liked their politics.
Now they have the stupidest 🍁political party leader since Stockwell Day.

She manages to spit out that PierrePoilievre desperately wants an election but probably won’t get it. #cdnpoli #peipoli

Let me get this straight: Singh and the NDP took all kinds of flak for supporting this govt and working with them to launch good social programs (which they want credit for) but just as said programs are gaining traction, he’s ok with flushing it all NOW?

Singh is an embarrassment of an NDP leader full of his own egotistical bullshit. He is the reason I won't vote NDP until he is gone. Trudeau has my support 100% .NDP needs a new serious leader that understands what is at stake .Singh should resign . He will destroy the party.

Everything wrong with what Pierre Poilievre said about the Montreal protests... and so much more
After the "controversial" Montreal protests, Pierre Poilievre took to social media faster than a Karen demands to speak with the manager.

The filibuster consumed 48 out of 56 sitting days, because the Speaker is incompetent and the NDP are more interested in playing games than in being the supposed "adults in the room" like they like to claim they are.

OTTAWA - The fall sitting of the House of Commons featured non-confidence votes, plenty of partisan bickering, and very little actual passing of laws. The session that ended Dec. 17

Pierre Poilievre says he’ll “axe the tax” but voted against giving you a GST break.
Says he’ll “build homes” but silences MPs who support real solutions.
Claims he’ll “stop crime” but spreads lies to divide Canadians.
Poilievre isn’t serious—he’s all talk, no action.
