I'm a 2D ( Isometric ) Survival Horror Tactical RPG composer, though it's taken a while to evolve in this direction. I'm also a fan of both Horror Manga ( think Elfen […]

But restorative democracy, is something way more delicate.

But the danger with slopification of language is in many ways the opposite of what radicals so:

That which is politically loaded becomes semantically meaningless.
December 27, 2025 at 5:09 PM
But furhermore beyond politics, Im wanting to prevent AI slopification of my constructed language. Which is a more immediate danger to me.
December 27, 2025 at 4:54 PM
But in contrast Im more about restorative democracy, even if what that democracy looks like is Democratic Socialism or traditional "Each person has one vote on every issue."

But with Rachelons approach theyd go and vanadalize a museum because it represents state oppression... somehow.
December 27, 2025 at 4:47 PM
But thats why Im against stuff like destroying culturally significant paintings even if one in theory wanted a completely stateless society.

By having absolutely no government there is nobody to publicly fund foundations for the arts.
December 27, 2025 at 4:46 PM
But Rechelons approach to anarchism is more about smashing the state with a hammer.

My approach is more akin to restoring an oil painting by repasting a piece that stripped off by supergluing it back on, and painting over that section.

In practice this means a very different approach to politica.

If I got back into RPG Maker, it would probably be XP. Sense the reason I dropped RPG Maker was they stopped supporting RGSS.

I'm genuinely fascinated by how many scheme based programming languages there are.

Roguelikes aren't even suppose to be platformers, but I'm way more flexible about that as a 3D platformer fan.
December 25, 2025 at 2:15 AM
But most of the issue is whether traditional roguelike mechanics would even make sense in this context.
December 25, 2025 at 2:11 AM
Definitely glad I'm not going for appealing to a specific demographic of western gamers and software people.

Also I finally figured out how to make my own GUIs using XML.
December 24, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I think maybe to LLM people an alternative history where Expert Systems continued to evolve to be more flexible rubs some the wrong way.

My solution for the alignment problem is by making a system only work within the fictional context of a game world.
December 24, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Ah yea Silverspook, check out that game studio.

Side note my own game framework is almost finished, was needing to standardize some stuff.

[Indie Gamedev Issues]

I don't know what it is about what I'm building, but it seems to attract mansplainers in the AI development space.
December 24, 2025 at 9:21 PM
I'm really sick of this performative arithmatic culture and mansplaining in the AI world.

So yea its apparently not just my experience. I feel less alienated about not buying from Jerrys again.
Nadia Younes gave Jerry's Artarama 1 star. Check out the full review...

Why is the personalities of these things so dysfunctional? Even art shops I go to aren't blaming for complaining about Jerrys Artirama overcharging me for stuff.

For those who know me from my music content: I do Iwato Rhythm, but the scale itself is not necessarily Iwato.
December 24, 2025 at 6:59 PM
I feel like we should update our AI theories as bit, System 1 and System 2 seems...kind of limiting.

The way a human filters out bad information is different from how an animal filters out bad information.
December 24, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Dude I'd trust Zohran over Sam Altman.
December 24, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Well more that I feel like I'm other people's System 2 thinker when they're System 1 basically. I don't mean that as a dig to selfish people, but it does get exhausting having to filter out stuff.

So the fact that China recently switched to eating blue cheese is a current cultural shift.

That's interesting. ( I was asking Gem if it thought that researching how Blue Cheese is made in China would be considered industrial espionage. )

Its a trick question though: China traditionally […]

I do agree with that though that AI is largely a marketing term, rather than a reflection of reality.
