Question here: what do people, who are all for these “cuts” (scorched earth is more like it) think the people being laid off are going to do. Do they not see the impending horrific outcomes for them and the economy?

I’m not sure anyone can answer this as you can’t answer for a whole nation but… why are people not rallying in the streets?? Haven’t seen any protests etc? Your country is being ruined yet no one appears to be out fighting and protesting. Wondering from Canada..
