This org can help her determine what she qualifies for and how to get it. UCLA, Cedars and Keck all have programs. If she makes under 4 times the federal poverty level care should be free. A sliding scale applies after that.

If she’s in LA, USC has to treat her and has a generous sliding scale. She may evrn not have to pa. They are mandated to treat everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Let me know if you want links to their financial aid progra.
