Took this last night, Horsehead Nebula in the Orion Nebula. 1500 light years from us and only 5 light years across. It’s a tiny ( by galaxy standards) stellar nursery. #horsehead #orion #astrophotography

Amazing that this is 24 light years across and in it we can see how proto solar systems are form from the surrounding dusts. We can see various stars at differing ages of development. #astrophotography #photo #stars
