It took maybe a year or two but now I see them against the sides of the container or on top of the leaf litter on occasion! Definitely one of the more shy species.

I’ll be honest that I haven’t mastered it at 4 years in but doing an injection after a warm shower/bath Always makes it easier!

I'm fortunate enough that I may be able to leave the state if it comes down to it. But so many people are unable to leave. I want to stay and fight for as long as I can. I shouldn't have to leave. I'm furious. I'm going to try and use that.

I'm trying to do more research into these topics so that I'm prepared for the bullshit that's coming for us. People are right when they say that we need to prioritize. Understand what's happening but don't try to fight all of it at once. Save your energy for the fights that matter most to you.
