Apart from the fact this never happens, it’s just weird that these conservatives always wrap their arms around pregnant women. As if pregnant women aren’t MORE at risk under their policies, not LESS. Further, once the child is born, you can fuck right off with your desire for paid parental leave.

I hope not. But then, I didn’t think the Republicans would dare leave a Supreme Court seat vacant for over a year until they regained the presidency. Not a peep from the public about it either. Didn’t seem to cost them at the ballot box. Maybe this time is different? 🤷🏻‍♂️

The main problem with any common infrastructure in this country is that the very wealthy don’t want to pay for it and largely don’t have to anymore. 100 years ago, industrial titans built wonders and put their names on them for the good of humanity. Now they just build their own space programs.

Honestly, this probably has to go on for generations, even if the Democrats manage to retake some power in the next few election cycles. This is because for the foreseeable future, we will always be 10,000 farmers in Wisconsin away from repudiation of our trade agreements and alliances.
