@TimWardCam I assume so - it seems instant so I assumed it was a PC hardware thing. I just have a UK keyboard on the laptop and an external US USB keyboard, so very aware that the layout settings are keyboard specific.

When I have an external keyboard attached to my laptop, the keyboards are mostly separate. I can set different layouts on them. but the caps lock and numlock keys are connected. Hitting capslock on one keyboard sets it on the other.

Kinda weird.

Normally I just block chat spammers. I've decided to do something new. First I open a machine translator. Next I pick a language. Then I pick a phrase - like "my kitten ate a squid." In this case I picked Thai, so "ลูกแมวของฉันกินปลาหมึก." Then I send it.
