I’m the same.
I would love to wear other colours but frankly I just look awful.
When I was younger and had a ‘tan’ I barely got away with it.
I much prefer deep, rich colours now.
Not just black.., that’s easy but purples, greys and navy. However white still works.

It’s fatal having Irish colouring because you only ever look good when you are in sub zero temperatures.

Unfortunately as I am fair skinned reds and greens don’t seem to work with me.
In hot weather reds accentuate my sunburn…. not a good look.
Green, yellow just makes me look ill.

Actually I usually dress in black witch stuff most of the year.
For brief summers and holidays abroad I incorporate white and the occasional blue.

The funniest thing is that they all want to see Lizzie, my cat.
She just hides whenever strangers enter the house.
I dress in black as a witch…. they are a bit wary of me.

When my eldest comes to dinner it is usually a ribeye roast dinner that he devours.
He is going to Skye on Saturday with his partner.
I’m going up on Tuesday so no doubt that dinner will feature before he goes home.
Great butcher nearby on the mainland.
