I’m really sorry to hear the news but a plan is in place and that will give you a fighting chance even tho the news is not great I’ll be thinking of you ❤️

I’m with you on knowing the plan it’s when you don’t have a schedule of when and what’s going to happen that it’s harder to cope with hope all goes well very miserable weather here grey gloomy and rainy but ukulele teaching singing and laughing together has helped

Well not really we’re a community choir so all welcome some can’t read music so mostly pop classics and as we’re all very senior 60 70 and 80s all in 3 parts so new arrangements

Morning all I went to choir yesterday first time for weeks and it was lovely to see everyone and giggle with my friend who sits next to me we share a sense of humour oh and we sing

He was loath at first to do a revision which is a total replacement I argued with him that I was aware of all the risks and cons after an X-ray he says it’s a positioning problem he thinks wants a CT scan to check so waiting for that now then probable replacement

Apparently I serenaded the orthopaedic doctor in Basingstoke general whilst under sedation as he put my hip back in place Memory from Cats a piece for my next exam so it’s obviously on my mind!

Best thing the body can do when you’re poorly. I had a singing lesson this afternoon first for some time I shall not be taking my next exam in March/April as planned with another op on the horizon never mind gives me longer to practise

I had to call the hospital about getting an earlier appointment and they didn’t seem to have the letter my gp emailed but did give me the consultant secretary number and she sorted them out of me so appointment on Friday.

Ah well now there’s a tale! Having trouble with my hip replacement which has dislocated three times so waiting for a consultant appointment to discuss a revision which is taking it out and putting another in. Apart from that I’m fine! Good to speak with you
