Thanks, so far all has been going as well as can be expected. Several emotions/feelings but generally upbeat. Having my sister down from Brisbane definitely helps.

Thanks. My sister is down from Brisbane to help with it all. There have been many memories, several emotions and also a few surprises. I am looking forward to it being done though.

I watched the TV mini series on the ABC back when I was in high school but I don't think I have read the book.

We studied LOTR in Year 11 English (age 16, not sure what international high school equivalents might be). I’ve read it pretty much every year since, so 40+ times.

I was in Chatswood yesterday morning with time to spare before the bus arrived, so of course took photos.

The plants are in a garden bed at the end of the street, that with the afternoon light behind presents them in such a way that I cannot walk past without taking a photo. There is another group that get direct afternoon sun that I pass by regularly.
