Wow the Venus talks are in a room with an organ! They should have told people in advance so they could plan more dramatic talks! #epscdps

Thanks to the Rimfax team in Norway for 3D printing a model of the Rimfax antenna for the Lego Perseverance rover. Now it looks complete! Bonus chaos cat - cat of Mars2020.

Also very nice area to walk around, with hiking trails in the area. Gardnos meteor park is about 2 hr 40 min drive from Oslo.

Had a great time over the last week at the Perseverance rover team meeting in Oslo and visiting Gardnos crater! Recommend stopping by if you are in Norway, you can see pre-cambrian impact breccia.

Wow. ESA's JUICE mission is 25% of the way there! Time is flying by. We'll, the spacecraft is the thing flying I guess.

It's a chilly rainy day here, and the cats are jumping up on the counter and grabbing what food they can. Winter is coming apparently.

Another cactus picture from campus. Big pink flowers. I'm kind of jealous about this cactus so now will use this to search for one at the garden shops.

I'm just begging the media to analyze the current moment more seriously. The "neutral" or even "lighthearted" headlines are completely obscuring the seriousness of deporting people to a foreign labor camp. (And yes, I subscribe to other media, but I still think it's still a big problem.)

I went to get sushi from the union and also had to get this very cute chocolate cupcake which even has rocks.

I was sad to hear of Alicia Soderberg's death. We were summer interns together in 1998 at Kitt Peak National Observatory. It was obvious that she was brilliant and also a fun person to work with. baas.aas.org/pub/2025i006...

Wyatt is hoping to sneak into my suitcase and come to #Lpsc2025. I can only imagine the sheer chaos he would cause there.

It looks like cat Virgil drew on another piece of furniture. The pencil is also missing. 😸✏️📈

#wbctucson China vs. Germany, simultaneous with air show training at the nearby DM base. So it's like 2 shows in one.
