Apart from a quick glance to observe dad’s actions, our hero’s eyes never leave his father’s face. Even when he himself begins to hammer.

The message being conveyed isn’t so much, “Look, I can hammer too,” as much as it is, “Look, Dad, I’m just like you.”

Simply beautiful.
