As far as I know, yes, she did. I do recommend the book. Charming, sincere, and funny - and full of dog photos. People shared. My copy has survived two of the dreaded downsizings.

She also wrote a non-fiction book about mongrel dogs, "Intelligent and Loyal". Useful, too. Lets you know if you have a Borderline Collie, a Spanish Policeman's Hat Ear Dog, a Lancashire Hot Pet, a Bertrand Russell or whatever.

I'm seeing a lot of ads from Disney attached to posts in my Facebook feed. I have had to block Disney - if that works. Heartening to read the comments about why people will not be buying/renewing their subscriptions.

I am an old lady in an electric wheelchair. I live in a small apartment with my cat, Jack, who likes to eat or sit or whatever with his tail stuck straight out behind him. So far, he still has a tail, the result of my eternal vigilance. We are aging. Wombat may be the cat of the future.
