Got this bit of sunshine in the mail today! Grace Lin’s The Gate, the Girl, and the Dragon, which I preordered and then tried to forget about because I really wanted to read it right away! 😀 And now I can! The page edges and illustrations look amazing. 💕

Going through my camera roll for motivation before I ring in the new year at my art table, and finding that once again the work of my own kindergartners is what inspires me the most.

If anybody needs a lift, staring deep into the soul of this love muffin usually does the trick for me. ❤️

SUNY ESF is just the best. 💕 We’re having trouble getting stuff set up (on the Syracuse side) and the guy at ESF was so reassuring! He even said very sincerely, “We’re so happy you’re coming! We’re a really neat school and I think you’ll really like it here!”💕

Spent practically the whole day yesterday reading on the couch with my dog, which I never usually get the chance to do. ❤️ Finished this by @kateclancy.bsky.social and it was awesome!
