I’m seeing signs that people are waking up. Like “I voted for him, but not for this (kidnappings, arrests, tariffs, etc.).” I will concede that many (or most) didn’t care as long as it was happening to other people.

Do you think the Democrats “caved” on the shutdown or do you agree with Lawrence O’Donnell that it was actually the republicans that caved - funding SNAP, back pay for federal workers, rehiring everyone fired, etc.?

I dated a guy who complained I wasn’t spending enough time with him while my dad was dying (6 years ago today). I was making the 1200 mile round trip every other weekend and working full time. I guided him right out the door.
