Thinking a lot about trauma tonight and my touch aversion and my struggle to accept myself and let love into my life. Dredging up a lot of stuff but am very grateful for my supportive partner.
I was heavily abused as a kid/teen and am still trying to grapple with it but it'll get better

I feel it all the time! I see my wife's gorgeous face, or hear her voice, or she tells a stupid bad joke and my heart flutters! I'll say it a million more times and each time will mean just as much as the first time !!!!

If you're dating someone who tells you, "You say 'I love you' too much" ... dump them

I have been with my partner for 10 years. We tell eachother 'I love you' at least 20 times a day. It hasn't lost its meaning or impact.
