On #BlackFriday, most Aussies know Kim Kardashian’s latest drop, but not our own Golden Bandicoot, which is rarer than diamonds.

Let’s redirect attention and so-called “savings” to what really matters.

Agreeing to “begin discussions” on an “eventual” and “voluntary” phase-out of fossil fuels doesn’t cut the mustard.

The ‘outcome’ of COP30 in Brazil proves the Paris Agreement is failing us.

After cycling 2200 km for #AlterCOP in BrisVegas, I just got my first flat tyre on the backroads in Wiradjuri Country about 50 km north of Dubbo.

Getting a puncture long distance cycling is a bit like doing your tax return. It’s not bad as you think it’ll be.

Rode the back roads through the Pilliga today for a break from the Newell Hwy.

Under the eucalypts, I kept thinking about two threats: hotter, more destructive bushfires - and the permanent poisoning risk from coal seam gas and fracking.

The Pilliga Doesn't Get to Speak in Parliament
Today I left the trucks of the Newell Highway for 100km or so of back roads through the Pilliga. It was quieter and softer on the nerves. That said, I do want to say up front that the truckies out her...

Cycling from Goondiwindi to Narrabri, I passed rich black-soil and fence-line signs from farmers warning about coal seam gas.

In a heating, drying climate, abandoning net zero is abandoning Australia’s farmers.

I was tempted to load my e-bike into this Suzuki Mighty Boy in Goondiwindi Qld and drive all the way back to Canberra. But I just took it for a short spin instead, and then hit the Newell Highway on my bike.

Saw these gorgeous dairy cows in the Lismore fog this morning.

I love cheese. My cardiologist and the climate both tell me to eat less of it.

But climate action doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing - eat half as much cheese, cut your emissions from cheese in half. #eBike4Australia
