We have woodpeckers similar to those in the forest behind my house. But I've never seen them make holes that big before! 😦

My entire back yard floods and this time it's a frozen pond 🥶

It's actually one of my favorites from that era. I love the miniature city too. It had grit. Some other "dark" comic movies that were pure cheese: Batman Returns and Batman Forever with Michael Keaton and Batman & Robin with George Clooney. 🧀😜

You probably had to see in the theaters when it was first released to truly appreciate it. We can say it's corny now, because we know what's been made since. But at the time, it was likely the most compelling dark comic-like story told on screen. Especially knowing Dark City and The Matrix followed.
