I am sickened by the brutality of the Hamas attacks on civilians on Oct. 7. I also despair for Palestinian civilians facing Israeli aerial bombings in Gaza. What makes it difficult for people to express empathy with civilians on both sides? A better future depends on it. victoriaplatform.ca
