Dusk descends on distant day,
While whispers chase a fading light,
In the waning warmth we hide our pain,
And birth the silence of the night.

Whispers end and stillness reign,
Sleepless nightmares in the dark,
Monuments to those once cherished,
Drifting on a distant ark.
