The Tyee reports that there are at least 33 school districts in B.C. that don't have a school liaison officer program. Only SD61 was fired for it.
Despite five years of police in schools coverage, I'd never asked: how many B.C. school districts have School Liaison Officers? How do they work? What are students rights?
