It's extremely embarrassing watching Portland & Oregon just destroy everything good it was known for.
Even things like the new 4th ave bike lane is stuff you see built in San Antonio or Des Moines now. Portland doesn't have an environmental edge or standing to any major city in the USA now.

But the side-loading and drip tray looks super-convenient on this. Cleaning out the Rubbermaid's tub liner is also pretty tricky unless you have access to an outdoor hose.

Yay, trash can discourse! I had a SimpleHuman for years and was happy with it, then the foot petal broke and the internal workings were hard to fix. I replaced it with the Rubbermaid FGST12EPLWH, a medical-grade, heavy-gauge steel beast with all-external hardware. Will easily outlive me.
