I was one of Alex's nursing faculty at MCTC. This is simply devastating. He was a good student and I knew he'd be a good nurse. Im so sorry for you and his VA family. May his memory be a blessing and an example of what a nurse is.

His last action was helping someone in need being assaulted, while fighting to support his community. We can only hope all can be as much as he was.

He was peacefully filming ICE, who then swarmed in on him, pepper sprayed him and another right in the face, tackled him to the ground, discovered he had a firearm holstered, disarmed him, then while both of his hands were on the pavement, unloaded 9 to 10 rounds into his back and then dispersed.

And in a slow-mo version online one gestapo goon pulled that gun out of the guy’s holster BEFORE shots were fired. It was an execution.
