When you view arts and entertainment purely as what happens on a national stage, you ignore the potentially rich arts and entertainment environment locals are interested in. When you publish generic pap designed to run anywhere, what are you telling your readers about something that interests them?

Today we filed suit in federal court to halt and reverse the gutting of the only federal agency dedicated to library funding. We will not allow these illegal actions against Americans and our libraries to go unchallenged.

To be incredibly clear: the library is for everyone. But it can't be EVERYTHING for everyone.
