...and while we're at it, why not choose vasectomy for your canine over a full "neutering" - it IS an option...???

This has always struck me funny- no idea why, but maybe it'll do the same for someone else today :)
I feel this is probably quite important information. You wouldn't want to get it wrong.

Meet Condor 1289, a young gal from the @ventana flock! She had a bit of trouble flying, and our awesome vet team found out it’s just a mild bone bruise on her wing.

With a little rest, she’ll be back soaring the skies before you know it. 💖

Sadness arrives uninvited. Joy demands more—it requires us to search, to kindle, to protect the flame against every wind. When we choose joy despite everything that argues against it, we don't just save ourselves—we illuminate the way for everyone around us.

Here are just a few random ones so you can enjoy them too.

Don't steal the pie... a moral to live life by this Holiday Season!

What a great tiny bit of personal history-it's the little stories that build up the "big history"!

"Permanently frozen water" for crystal- I like that!
A #Roman rock crystal ring decorated with a crescent and stars inlaid with gold foil - it looks like an emoji 🤩, but for the Romans this wasn’t just decoration. The motif was associated with death: crescent and stars were symbols for eternity and afterlife.
Rock crystal was valued...🧵1/2

"Love will always win..." I love that! A rough start on this clip but such a happy ending for the little guy!
I’ll never forget the little wooden splint this man made to try help Mario.

All the locals knew who best Mario up. A man high on meth.

Look at him now in England. Thankfully he has no mental scars ❤️

Labour strikes aren’t new!

The first recorded strike in history took place in Egypt some 3,200 years ago!

The ‘Strike Papyrus’ records that tomb workers of King Ramesses III downed tools over pay and conditions circa 1157 BC!

Okay this may seem obscure but it is such cool linguistic information! (sorry to those here for my zoo and site reposts, lol)
Today in “Arabic dialects don’t come from classical Arabic”. Several dialects have a pronominal -t ending, e.g., Egyptian an-nās dōlat, “those/these people”. This, afaik, isn’t attested in classical Arabic but is found in several other Semitic languages. This feature thus didn't come from MSA.
