some kind of corporate compulsion to give its customer base the finger at every opportunity. "Hey, what are going to do? We've got them locked in - ha, ha – lolz" Well, I am actually mad enough about this to start thinking of alternatives, at least to Apple's Music app. 4/4

There's an old adage – if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Either nobody in Apple's software design has ever heard of this or they are so obsessed with their own brilliance they've decided to fly in the face of logic and common sense. It's as if Apple has 3/4

beggars belief. My gaze is forced down to the bottom of the screen to see the controls & read the song title, artist name etc. If I want to see the song's metrics (length, time to end) I have to move the mouse around & hover over the progress bar. This causes the song name & artist to blur! 2/4
