I totally did not understand this until I was married with a kid, and suddenly I was supposed to perform magic. Weirdly that's when Christmas became much less magical for me. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Pressure. With a gaping hole in the Whitehouse, there will be a lot of pressure on Congress to approve plans before the weather gets bad. Without the demo it could have taken months or years to get people to sign off on the design.

I’m not sure what point you are trying to make. If the laws are so restrictive that that they can’t even perform abortions in the state, what’s so wrong about people saying the abortions are illegal there, when the law that says it’s “legal” still makes it impossible.

It’s functionally illegal in Idaho because there are no longer any abortion providers there because of their current laws. Doesn’t matter if you qualify for an abortion if there is no one who can perform one.

When your summers are typically 4 months straight of 105-112 temps, 98 is absolutely amazing. I’m in the high desert, and we usually don’t see the 90s until September. The fact we’re going to have an entire week in the 90s is weird. It’s amazing but weird.

I own chickens. I care for chickens. I mend sick/broken chickens. Never have I only ever seen a chicken IRL show love to anyone other than their babies, and even that’s only for 4-6 weeks.

I am unfortuantelty visiting my dad who has FOX on 24/7, and from what I saw on FOX, the whole thing was just a MAGA photo-op. They are making it look like ICE is systematically taking over LA.
