Samosa Knish! two delicious pastries in one! A baked, spiced-potato filled pastry: onions, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, coriander, kashmiri chili, fennel, thyme, ginger, potatoes + peas and carrots. I ate them for dinner last night and breakfast this morning. 😋

I don't know if these are oyster mushrooms. Went on an early morning hike in the rain. I did not pick them, but want to learn! 🌱 Posting on gardening; not sure if there is a fungi group on here. Thanks for any info or direction!

I’m so proud of this 9 in (diameter) sunflower head. I grew several 8 foot tall sunflowers this summer and am saving the seeds for next summer. 🌻 🌱

Growing chrysanthemums (tong ho) for the first time. Been nibbling on the raw greens as they grow. Anyone familiar with these greens in cooking? I’ve read about using in hot pots and salads and sautéing then tossing with other herbs and aromatics.
They taste crisp and grassy, but not too grassy. 🌱

🌱 This is the first time I've been able to grow these Mammoth sunflowers and they are so stunning. The leaves are gigantic I have many more planted and hope they grow to be as tall and beautiful. One of my teenage sons (~5'2) for height comparison. 🌻

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for this beautiful torchflower to open and it has and its color brings me and my eyes relief from staring at the computer, which I am again staring at lol 🌱
