My opinion on the movie sour over time to the point of getting why it was a flop, but I was mostly reffering to people who tweet "PR movie deserve more" were it's very likely they don't care about the movie (since it came from accounts who barely talked about it), and those were just click baits.

Which is why I'm not suprised the third one is getting rather lukewarm reception, cause it doesn't even had a build up of "sequel 10 years in the making"

I think I wouldn't had much of if people didn't try to sell those films as "deep and though provoking" and they are just spectactle films with a simple story "men bad, save the enviroment". Like the plot of a second movie is basicly a family sitcom.

The reputation of Avatar movies is something that preplexises me, especially when they are considered "true cinema" in comparison to MCU films, were in all honesty they have a very MCU-esque writing style.

Tbf, this is not me saying they don't have purpose, since the thing with them was always that they served when digimon was basicly power downed. This was mainly response to complaints we barely get new ones outside of mascot digimon, and how said new ones are just "rookie's head".

I'm not gonna go into details but later episode will definitly explore this more.
Honestly, I found an interview were, writers of Beatbreak, usually wright story first and find digimon fitting for the plot. Which is contrast to Ghost Game were in there they took digimon and wrote a story around it.

That scene made me thing "ok, will this be an issue if it's ever gonna be locolise in the west", but than I saw Ghost Game being uncensorn, so mayne not?

with Reina being dismisive of that, with just saying "we are a family" not realising it sounds like Tomoro should just comply to the idea. And even than they explained Reina's attitude, as her character flaw and how she in general had problem with getting along with other cleaner teams.

I think what I like about this episode is that both Tomoro and Reina have their rights and wrong.
Tomoro is dismisive of cleaners job and Reina wants him to actually cooporate. But at the same time Tomoro joined out of necesity than it's own will, so it's natural for him to not want to do the job,

Tbf, Digimon evolutions being reflection of it's tamers growth and personality was always a thing (Digimon Arise mobile game, even gave partner digimon original megas reflective of it's tamers), but I think it's the first anime series down right stated that.

Like, nowadays I feel like if you need to turn Megatron into Galvatron, you should also kill Optimus and replace him with Rodimus as well.

And personally, while I like Galvatron, I stoped treating him as something that needs to happen, ones I realise the anime's "Megatron turns Galvatron" for the most part was invention in locolisation as well as an excuse to hold on to the name's trademark.

Tbh, I do starting to get why Hasbro rarely uses Galvatron and when they he's often seperate character from Megatron (either unrelated or time travel). Megatron is just way more recognisable and they don't wanna get rid off him by turning him into Galvatron.

Persoanlly, I have my theory that Sapotama are "made" out of Digimon. Or at least Digimon are converted into AIs used for them, cause I think it's a logical direction for the story to take. Especially that so far characters think mons just born from Sapotama and there's no mention of Digital World

As well as the fact they probably they don't earn that much money from cleaner job.

Tbf, it DOES make sense context wise, since Tomoro is a new comer and POV character, and I think after the first "phase" the focus with the cast is gonna be more balance out, at least I hope so.
