I bought a different brand of shrimp chip, instead of my usual Calbee, and oh man… the taste disappointment. It was the only option but dang, I’m not doing this again. I don’t care how bad my craving is.

Finished this lovely gold foiled puzzle. Now to just coax it into the frame without it coming apart.

Managed to get to the laundry mat only to find the change machine busted. Which is seriously annoying since they just upgraded to all new washing machines last month and raised prices. I have zero energy to go down the hill to the bank and then back to the laundry again. So it gets to wait longer. 🫠

The neighborhood obo player is currently rehearsing Charlie brown’s Xmas. While it’s about 75% there on good notes, I’m appreciating their enthusiasm.

Due to all the sneezing and tissue usage, the geckos keep peaking over at me in concern and confusion. I’m so noisy! At the rate I’m progressing through cold symptoms, I figure the body aches and fatigue will hit tonight/tomorrow. Goodie. 😖

Wondering if I’ve caught the cold that’s going around at work. My throats better today, but now I have sinus pressure and am glad I bought a new box of tissues. I had insomnia most the night, so today’s just great. What a way to start off the new year. 😩

I’ve managed to put together the inner border of my puzzle today, but as I work on the middle portion, I still haven’t figured out which way is the border top. Everything is mirrored, so it’s still a mystery. No tiny copy-write line to cheat with either. 😂

I really think the weather air pressure is messing with Amethyst. They’ve asked to come out twice today, but won’t settle down to sleep. They’re asking to come out yet again right now, but I’m trying to ignore the increasing nail taps. Hoping they’ll get board & go sleep like good geckos should be.

My sore throat woke me up a few times and I thought for sure I’d be full blown sick this morning but somehow… I’m not. The pain has gone back down to just an annoying itch. Trying to decide if I should fight the rain and go get some lozenges anyway, since absolutely nothing will be open tomorrow.

It’s so disappointing to find a shop with beautifully tailored clothes, in my exact esthetic taste, only for the smallest size to be hilariously too big for my frame. 😞 I really need to get off my butt about figuring out patterns to sew daily wear garments for myself + sourcing affordable fabric.

The inconsistent volume for action scenes in the Dark Knight movie is driving me nuts! At least I have the border together for my puzzle now. Pretty gold foil details throughout. 🥰

I’ve been expectedly drained and exhausted today. Seems the work intensity has hit like a brick wall. I’ve barely moved from the couch and reading. I’m just now attempting to start a movie marathon and a new puzzle. Time shall tell how long I last.
