Indeed. There's an error in the spelling of my name on my birth certificate - that I just learned about trying to get a realID. So far, it's a struggle trying to get that repaired.

Wall Street already gambles with our retirement via the 401k and similar programs. Very concerning that we are in a state of defined contribution without any promise of actual benefit, much less defined benefit.

In the days of paper and pen market research, we learned to ask 'gender' instead of 'sex' because we'd get lots of snarky answers to Sex. Like "yes, please" or worse.

In the 80s, when I added my husband to my longstanding credit card account (department store), they closed my account and reissued new card (only one) new account number in my husband's name.

I empathize with you. My commander in USAR said to me: "you're a Reservist, he's full-time, I can't do anything." Harrasment, not rape, but very distressing.
