They might be forced down that road, we live in hope. Reform and Tory will either merge or continue bickering. Plus votes will probably be stockpiled in certain areas. Sadly mine could be one of them. 😦 Keep fighting the good fight, the dark side can never win.

An issue that splits opinion, but the MPs have followed the mood of the majority. Sad to see Reform bots on the other place destroying the debate.

We have a reservoir being built down here. The Greens and Nimbys have been major objectors. Good that the Gov is pushing this through. We need water security

Political suicide to even hint at it in the current climate.

If I was Tory party member I would be appalled by this. They are in 4th place in the polls now, surely they can see this is not the right approach.

This is why you are haemorrhaging votes. You aren't seen as a serious politician. We can all see this is a sensible deal. Political critique is fine, childish name calling will never resonate with voters.

A good Sunday walk with birdsong and @quietriotpod.bsky.social - making sense of the situation. John Curtis nailed it too... Labour need to start governing like Architects, with a vision for the house they are trying to build, rather than handymen & plumbers fixing the faults.
