President Trump signed the bipartisan and bicameral Aviator Cancer Examination Study (ACES) Act into law.

The National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will conduct a study to get to the root causes of our significantly elevated cancer rates.

The ROTOR Act (H.R. 4704) directs the Defense Health Agency to lead a two-phase study on cancer prevalence and mortality among military rotary-wing pilots and support crews. Phase 1 examines 12 major cancers & Phase 2 investigates causes.

Congressman Rich McCormick, a former CH‑53 pilot, vet of over 20 yrs, & ER physician, has introduced HR 4704-ROTOR Act-that directs the DoD to study cancer rates among military helicopter pilots and aviation support crews.

This week, we lost a hero, husband, father, and tireless advocate, Col Andy Shurtleff. A decorated F-15 and F-22 fighter pilot, he gave 23 years of service to our nation. Even after his diagnosis, he continued to serve — fighting for aircrew & the ACES Act.
