(also you can probably accomplish the same with just a point, but I like the small circle because I can see it easier in Inkscape and line up my ink or paint tray accordingly, and it has the added benefit of picking up more ink.)

2/2 copy paste the same small circle in the same place before each block and then be sure to set the axidraw to strictly follow vector order and it should make that dip before going back to each block. Not sure if that makes sense.

Hey Joel. My pen dipping is written in the code, but you can absolutely accomplish this with Inkscape. I think if you just make a small circle off paper (change doc properties to be slightly larger than actual paper so the machine will go there) before each “block” you can accomplish the same result

The one here is now made by @bantamtools.bsky.social. And some of my videos are sped up a little but you can adjust the speed of the machine. 👍
