I heard that the deal with a yacht of that kind of price is that you have to expect the yearly running costs to be 20% of whatever the original purchase price was. Doesn’t matter if you got it 2nd hand for £4m, if it was originally sold for £10m you have to expect £2m/year to keep it going.
