I wasn’t overly impressed with the MF of Zubi, Rice & Odegaard.

I’m now thinking about game-sharing the 6 spot between Rice & Zubimendi.

Just a short term fix while we figure things out with Odegaard

Agree with Clive’s points on Odegaard.

He gets too busy at times. Taking the ball off the feet of other players, too many touches, walking the ball towards other players, not releasing it quick enough.

Also think Odegaard negatively impacted Rice, the balance between the two was off

It’s Prague and Wolves next…… Villa Park was always gonna be the last ride for Rice and Zubimendi.

This game is crying out for Gyokores.

Odegaard has had possession in dangerous central areas but there’s nobody ahead of him.

Eze is a total passenger, these away games are not games for him.

The Palace fans told me he was similar for them…

He’s played CB before, he’s more experienced than Hincapie & Mosquera & he’s got better build-up than both.
