First day we got out BSH kitten she got scared and ran up the chimney, gas effect fire, and we had to call out a gas fitter to remove the whole fireplace. 4 hours later she was out and non the worse apart from covered in cobwebs

Any train ticket in the UK is stupidly expensive. I went from Winchester to Manchester for a conference in December. 5 times more expensive than flying

Tried them once to Munich, awful and completely screwed up my paid for seat reservation and made no apology after they put me in a different seat , just told me to complain and request a refund

I'll see if they deliver to the UK or may have to wait for my next US trip 👍

I took the train in December from Winchester to Manchester
It would have been about the same time on flight, taking into account checking in etc but about 25% of the cost - trains in UK are not a good solution imo if you can fly for cheaper and usually more comfortable
