As someone who despises orange man and the American oligarchy, I'm happy to not have to disclose my small business information to the government. Many folks would have been hit with major fines.

Having to work on this directly, the requirement was putting a burden on any American with an LLC… especially if they didn’t know how to navigate it and had pay thousands to hire a law office to handle it (👋).

Like you could have an LLC and a marketing website that never gets visited and still owe the gov $500 a day if you didn’t file this on time and that is certainly bullshit for regular people when we have obvious exploited loopholes by not-regular people.

This requirement has been on again off again due to nationwide injunctions from cases questioning the constitutionality of requiring every mom and pop shop in the country to fill this out or be fined $500 a day—when many business owners had no idea about it.

I know the whole farm bill weed thing is controversial, but here in Wisconsin it’s all we have access to. There are legitimate companies producing COAs and prioritizing health. Folks like JB and the big corporate mid companies that donate to politicians are just mad they’re losing money on it.
