Before the TSA, established after 9/11, airport security in the U.S. was managed by private security companies hired by airlines, featuring much lighter screening, allowing non-ticketed people to access gates, and requiring less ID and fewer restrictions on items like liquids or blades.

We need to break it back down to where it was pre 2003. We had INS (Immigration & Naturalization) we had before that Bureaus...

Customs and Border Protection is more than the Patrols. People, and dogs, and inspectors (from exotic plants or produce to nuclear material) at ports of entry...land, sea, air. Taking that away and we'd end up in a world of hurt. Way too much has been shifted to be under DHS.

They don't seem to have a handle on the current status of immigrants. The immigration records are getting flagged invalid with no rhyme or reason or notification. Question it and the fingers go pointing. Or they ignore tribal ID's and such and say 'that's fake'. (Elaine Miles of Northern Exposure)

I sure had noticed something...not sure.
My problem is that when I see pics of DeSantis (not as much nowadays, thank goodness) I SEE MOUSE EARS.

Need a different moniker. So as to not get confused with 'The Free Press is an American media company based in New York City. Founded by opinion writer Bari Weiss. [who is now running CBS news...into the ground.] Peoples' Press or something.
