Concentration camps aren't anything new here. The Nazis based theirs off of the American reservation system, for example. You could say that reservations are the oldest in the country.

The Nazis copied America's genocide of Native people. Their concentration camps were based off the American reservation system. At the same time WW2 was going on, America was committing genocide against Native people by kidnapping children and putting them into church-run prison camps.

Never mind that Native Americans actually suffer higher rates of police brutality and death by cop, not to mention higher incarceration rates.

I didn't forget it. I think that most of the smallpox outbreaks were done intentionally, either by sending somebody that had it to the villages or with the blankets.

That's covered in US history books. What isn't really covered is the Native American civil rights movement, or really anything. They make it look like we vanished around the turn of the 20th century. Any American knows who MLK is, for example, but don't know who Dennis Banks or Clyde Bellecourt are.

The US doesn't teach history. They teach propaganda. They don't want children to learn that their country was so much worse than the Nazis, or that the Nazis learned from America's treatment of Native people.
