I brought it up as point of "violence that happened at a Pro-Palestinian rally that no one said was unacceptable" but I understand what you mean and apologize for sounding misleading. Fully not my intention. Should I delete it as a point or leave it?

I doubt he did, because he's a dumpster fire of a person who had other shit going on at that time. Lots of other people did, though, like a giant, broad coalition of Jews who didn't want any violence done in their names and immediately said so.

I just feel like if I were advocating for a cause and someone said "I shot some kindergarteners for that cause" I'd like to let people know that I do not support that and disavow that senseless violence and that's not what the cause is about, but I also have, like, a heart, so who knows.

"Leaders" is a nebulous term I'm using to describe anyone who has any kind of recognized voice within the larger movement because I understand that it's a broad group and not a centralized coalition with a hierarchy and leadership roles, you smug asshole.

Because he said he did it for Palestine and I'd like to imagine that someone would be like "whoa that guy is not with us and we do not believe shooting kindergarteners helps anyone" and no one did. Not JVP, not Students for Justice in Palestine, not the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
