We played the demo a year ago and LOVED it, and I was gratefully given a key to the full game that just got released 4 DAYS AGO.

TLDR: I won't be playing any more EA games personally or for content for the foreseeable future, and our main YT content will be refocused into demos and story games ❤️ I hope y'all understand, and if you have questions feel free to ask.
Okay. This is a big one, so grab a cuppa and settle in. You may or may not be aware that EA is going ahead with a deal to sell the company and go private. While I would rather they stayed public for certain reasons, the larger issue I have is WHO they are selling to. I won't go into it here, but it goes against my morals and things I stand for to continue to support EA, given the nature of their new owners. So, what does that mean for us, and this channel's future? In broad terms, I no longer feel comfortable supporting EA. After their announcement that they are heavily investing in AI for The Sims I chose to no longer give them money, but kept playing. With this new news however, I cannot in good conscience keep supporting as a player or content creator. As such, I shall no longer be playing their games. Personally, that means no more Apex Legends or Sims in my own time. For the channel, it means our Star Sign Legacy challenge, and Banished x Sims 4 crossover series will both be put on indefinite hold. There may be one final build episode that I have already recorded and began editing, but I will not be making any new content on EA titles for the foreseeable future. This is likely as upsetting for you as it is me, and I am sorry to leave them hanging, but it doesn't feel right to go against what I stand for just for a gameplay storyline. What I WILL be focussing on, at least in the immediate future, is more demo playthroughs, and more story-focused gaming content. I have many streamed playthroughs I want to make into videos, so you will not be without content, I promise we are not going anywhere. Rather, we are refocusing. Should the situation with EA and their new owners change we may reconsider our position, but until then I do not feel comfortable supporting them further. That being said, find me at MaddMilliner on Twitch for live content, and watch this space for more demo and full game LPs.
