In a statement, Denmark’s defense ministry said additional Danish aircraft, naval assets and troops will be deployed in and around Greenland starting immediately as part of expanded training and exercise activity. The effort will include “receiving allied forces, operating fighter jets and carrying out maritime security tasks,” the ministry said. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said on X that Swedish officers are arriving in Greenland as part of a multinational allied group to help prepare upcoming phases of Denmark’s Operation Arctic Endurance exercise, following a request from Copenhagen. A European diplomat said that troops from the Netherlands, Canada and Germany were also taking part. The diplomat and another official with first-hand knowledge said France was also involved. Defense ministries in other countries did not immediately respond to requests for comment. So far, the deployment remains intergovernmental and has not been formally approved by NATO, according to two people familiar with the matter.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Ms. Wiles said that Mr. Trump was not telling the truth in accusing Mr. Clinton of visiting the private island. Ms. Maxwell, in her interview this summer with Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, also undercut Mr. Trump’s efforts to blame Mr. Clinton.

The email contained extraneous, unrelated text regarding the Hawaii Department of Health's COVID-19 provider guidelines from June 2020. The email concluded with contact information for a US location in South Haven, Michigan. By Gemini; there may be mistakes.

It is unclear if or how many other Head Start programs have received similar guidance. In her declaration, Mary Roe said the word ban has put her in an "impossible situation" because the federal Head Start Act contains many of the words programs are now being told to avoid. One contradiction Roe highlighted is Head Start's longstanding responsibility "to create inclusive and accessible classrooms for children with disabilities," she stated. Yet she was advised by HHS to avoid the words "disability," "disabilities" and "inclusion" in her funding application. Roe also declared that she worries that removing such words might satisfy the current administration – but run afoul of existing law.
