Jamie builds the world, Damon builds the sound. What a ride. I didn’t just see Gorillaz. I walked through their universe. House of Kong, two full-album shows, surprise guests, even a Fortnite pop-up. Loud, weird, emotional…and some of the best storytelling I’ve ever experienced.

Rainy London and Rachel Zegler singing Don’t Cry for Me Argentina from Evita outside the Palladium for free. Magic happens when art escapes the walls meant to contain it.

Oh, and I found Claes Oldenburg’s giant Clothespin in Philly too. Wild since I work beside his only UK public sculpture. Didn’t know Philly had more of them…So, next trip = Oldenburg scavenger hunt.

Spent a day in Philly and moseyed into the rare books at @freelibrary.bsky.social.
Highlights? I met Charles Dickens’s pet raven (Grip), geeked out over Beatrix Potter drawings, and found myself staring at a chunk of an Epic of Gilgamesh tablet.
Oh, and it’s free. So, go!

When I first moved to the UK from America, I could drive on my US license for a year. I didn’t realize there was a huge backlog to take a driving test, so I’ve relied on public transportation for the last 8 months.
I finally have a full UK license now. For those who are still waiting, it pays off!❤️

I still don’t know what to post on Bluesky, but pictures of my dog, Dante, seem like a decent starting point.

It’s been 2 years since I made the decision to leave the US and my teaching job to move to the UK to pursue an Archeology program as a gateway to the museum sector.

I graduated on Friday, and I now work in the museum where I completed my student placement.
I achieved what I set out to do,
but…

I wasn’t sure what my first post should be, so I will make it about my dog, Dante. He is a Papillon.
