In terms of Rally games, it rewrote the rules graphically, taking the genre to a new level.
Perhaps it was let down slightly by the player being forced to use the Ford Focus in Championship Mode though.

It's... a tough call for me, this (and compounded by the probability that most people would expect me to say Sonic).
But the truth is, I got my Commodore 64 a couple of years before I got my Master System.
