My wife and I were recently talking about which Mario characters we’d be in real life and she said she wouldn’t want to be Mario or Luigi. I said “I’d be Mario or Luigi… or Rosalina 👀”. She laughed and was like “yeah? You want to be a lady?” I told her I think I could pull it off.

I still want to be a girl. I could briefly see her in the mirror in a dream I had a few nights ago. I looked like I was a few months into HRT, but I definitely looked like a woman. My wife had accepted me in the dream too, and told me I was pretty. I want to tell her, but I’m still scared.

Trans folks, before you transitioned did you find that your gender dysphoria would swing back and forth? Like, did you sometimes feel really good being your AGAB and other times feel like you needed to start your transition immediately?

Watched an episode of tv where a character came out as gay recently, and the whole time I was thinking “Damn, coming out to people you know seems like it could be so freeing”. And I found myself feeling jealous of this character, because I want to come out as trans to people I know.
