I don't create much lately, but here's some art from my college days for the people who care.
An illustration of a Samus Aran bust with busted armor on one sleeve, this was a class assignment circa 2014 where we were given a sketch and had to go from there. I learned a lot of technical knowledge in this class, most of which I've imparted to my partner who is a more inspired artist than me. An attempt to make something paper like in 2.5D. Tried combining David Tennant with Pedro Pascal I think. Spent way too long on the legs of the pants and my hands were rubbish. Not a drawing but this is Elly, a 3D model that was created by a professor that I then blew up and used as a test case to demonstrate the capabilities of the school's underutilized SLA 3D printer. The printer couldn't make things bigger than 12x8x8 inches so figuring out how to split the three foot tall model up was fun. She has possible tentacle arms, working casters, three independently rotating sections, and removable prescription glasses. My attempt at rendering a jungle scene inspired by where Timon and Pumba might have found Simba in the original Lion King movie.
