My latest favorite thing has been grinding the beans myself. I've tried several different types lately, but my favorite was a limited blend of beans from Oaxaca, Mexico. I haven't been able to find them again.

I took a ton of photos today. This is by far one of my favorites from Garden Rosalyn in Mount Vernon, WA, USA.

DEI - As initiatives are being cute across the country, I highly encourage you to pose questions to the companies that are doing away with diversity, equity, inclusion, and even accessibility programs. Microsoft and Amazon are federal contractors required by executive order to halt their programs.

Last week, nothing seemed to be going my way. Things took more time than I expected. I was overwhelmed by situations out of my control. Then something beautiful happened, reminding me that even when things don't go as planned, new opportunities come that I'd never experience without all the trouble.

Tahoma looked rather majestic from the air this evening.

This platform is a breath of fresh air in an Internet that's otherwise a maelstrom of toxic fumes. I hope it can always maintain the vibe that made it the space it is today.

The most public trial of 2025 is not going to be a murder trial, but a trial between public welfare and corporate profit. That will be a defining moment of this generation. Let us not stand idly by.

Release the manifesto, already.

Another day, another photo of the Twin Sisters in Whatcom County. Freshly covered in snow, the sisters are enjoying the benefits of the twin bomb cyclones that we're experiencing in Washington state this week.

It's officiall. Cold toilet seat season is hear again. Absolute shock when I sat down this morning. 🥶🚽

I didn't have a tripod on hand at the time, but this handheld cellphone shot of the Aurora Borealis from Oct 11, 2024 will have to do.

I took this photo a few days ago of the Twin Sister mountains in Whatcom County, WA, USA. At the time, I didn't notice the slash burn smoke rising in the foreground. It's good to see snow in the mountains again though.
