pretty similar to my hot take for worldbuilding. sometimes things in a certain genre happen and there is no need to question it. like would you waste your time saying the screenwriter was dumb because the villains dont attack the magical girls when they transform?
Here's my hot take: The magic doesn't always need explaining. It can be weird. Magic can happen because it's right for the moment, for the story. It's magic, not science.
